Good Friday English Service at Sorrowful Mother. The Catholic Church does not celebrate Mass on Good Friday but offers a liturgy that includes the reading of the Passion from John's gospel, veneration of the cross, and Holy Communion. The bilingual service at St. Cecilia will have the Passion reading in English but otherwise parts in English and Spanish, all available in our missalettes.
